En este momento, en tu vida, puedes estar recibiendo muchos consejos sobre tu futuro. Asesoramiento de sus padres, sus familiares y de su consejero escolar. Ya sea que su objetivo sea asistir a una universidad estatal, a una universidad comunitaria, a una escuela técnica local oa una universidad privada, o si aún no se ha resuelto, deberá tomar algunas decisiones importantes sobre su educación futura. 

Para tomar estas decisiones con prudencia, debe comprender y ser capaz de organizar el proceso de planificación para la universidad. La universidad es un gran lugar para descubrir intereses relacionados con el trabajo y campos profesionales potenciales. De hecho, es probablemente su mejor oportunidad para prepararse para un empleo gratificante y agradable.

PROGRAMA AP (College Board)

El programa de colocacion avanzada (AP) del College Board les permite a los estudiantes seguir estudios de nivel universitario mientras aun estan en la secundaria. Mediante mas de 30 cursos de nivel universitario que culminan con un riguroso examen, AP les proporciona a los estudiantes la oportunidad de obtener credito universitario o colocacion avanzada.

Elegir el curso correcto durante la secundaria, puede resultar en una diferencia de varios miles de dolares en el costo de la universidad, pues los estudiantes AP tienen muchas mas probabilidades de obtener una licenciatura en cuatro anos. Ahorrandose el costo de matriculas adicionales y evitando un retrazo en su incorporacion a la fuerza laboral.

PROGRAMA IB (International Baccalaureate)

Es una fundación educativa sin fines de lucro que ofrece cuatro programas de educación internacional altamente respetados que desarrollan las habilidades intelectuales, personales, emocionales y sociales necesarias para vivir, aprender y trabajar en un mundo en rápida globalización. Las escuelas deben estar autorizadas, por la organización del IB, para ofrecer cualquiera de los programas.
